Using Layers

Many beginners in Photoshop get confused or don't know how to work with layers. I'll be showing an example of how to use them correctly.

Layers are very complicated and difficult to work with. Many times their order is very hard to use.
In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a guy inside a car by using layers.
Lets start by getting the pictures up.
There will be a massage that will say it's creating a new layer0, just click ok.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a guy inside a car by using layers.
Lets start by getting the pictures up.
First select the white in the man picture using the Magic Wand tool (see picture on the right).
After you chose the Magic Wand tool click once on the white space in the man picture and you will see that it's selected.
Before you erase the background you have to unblock the layer if it's locked.
There will be a massage that will say it's creating a new layer0, just click ok.After you have done this you can finally click on "delete" and the background will become transparent. After you erased the background press "command"+"d"/"ctrl"+"d" to deselect. Now click command/ctrl and drag the man into the car picture.
After both pictures are on the same page hide the man picture by simply clicking on the eye icon:
Click on the car layer and now we are going to do the same to the car, but we will need to change the tool options a bit. Above the picture you should see a tool present. This time we want to select a couple of different things not just one. Click on "add to selection" and then you will be able to make more then one selection.
Now just click "delete" and there will be transparent background like before (you can erase the background layer if you want to), then click on the man picture's eye icon to show it again.
Before you can start putting the man in place you have to change the order of the layers so the car will be in front.
Ok so we got everything ready now we just have to fit the man to be at the right size at the right place.
Use the shortcut "command"+"t"/"ctrl"+"t" to edit it.
